Any registrations made within 6 months of expected EPA date will be charged rate of 50% of overall EPA cost
Where relevant resit costs will be applied as outlined below -:
Theory resits - £150 each
Practical resits - £900 each
Professional discussion resits - £350 each
JOB ROLE/DESCRIPTION
Installers, install components of large-scale industrial and commercial systems such as heating, chilled water, hot and cold water which are used for heating industrial and commercial buildings such as office blocks, factories, schools and hospitals. These engineering systems operate by moving temperature-controlled water around the inside of buildings, providing heating and cooling, and utilise fossil fuels and sustainable energy systems.
It is desirable to achieve this apprenticeship you will need English and Maths at level 2 or GCSE Grade 4-9 (C or above), and Information Communication Technology at Level 1 or GCSE Grade 3 (D). If you do not have these, delivery can be organised prior to the apprenticeship commencing.
Apprentices will study towards the Building Services Engineering Installer qualification, which includes the following knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs):

These will be demonstrated through knowledge tests, practical assignments and submission of a Record of Achievement, followed by an End Point Assessment.
The employer, advised by the training provider, will decide when the apprentice has demonstrated the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours during the on-programme learning and confirm they are ready to access the End Point Assessment.

The End Point Assessment tests the expertise built up over the period of the apprenticeship. It includes:
KNOWLEDGE TEST - Synoptic knowledge assessment, delivered as an onscreen multiple-choice examination
INSTALLER SKILLS TEST - Timed synoptic practical assessment
Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will achieve either a:
Pass
Merit
