JOB ROLE/DESCRIPTION
Installers, install components of large-scale industrial and commercial systems such as
heating, chilled water, hot and cold water which are used for heating industrial and commercial buildings such as office blocks, factories, schools and hospitals
These engineering systems operate by moving temperature-controlled water around the inside of buildings, providing heating and cooling, and utilise fossil fuels and sustainable energy systems.
It is desirable to achieve this apprenticeship you will need English and Maths at level 2 or GCSE Grade 4-9 (C or above), and Information Communication Technology at Level 1 or GCSE Grade 3 (D). If you do not have these, delivery can be organised prior to the apprenticeship commencing.
Apprentices will study towards the Level 2 Building Services Heating & Ventilation Installer (Industrial & Commercial) qualification, which includes knowledge tests, practical assignments and production of a portfolio of evidence.
An apprenticeship is a real job with training, enabling you to earn whilst you learn. You will gain qualifications, which are recognised worldwide as well as a vast range of job-specific skills.

On successful completion of this apprenticeship you will receive a Level 2 NVQ in Heating & Ventilation Industrial and Commercial.
