COURSE SUMMARY

This short online course will provide you with fundamental awareness of some of the F-Gas terms and regulatory requirements which must be adhered to, by those working in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry.

Do you work with refrigeration or air-conditioning engineers or technicians? Do you have conversations with engineers or customers about F-Gas related jobs? Are you responsible for ensuring your engineers qualifications are up to date and would benefit from greater awareness of the regulations they must abide by and the basic principles and terms used?

Our online awareness course will give you the confidence to communicate with customers and engineers alike, ensuring a professional and efficient service.

Who is the course for?

Office staff within refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump companies, but also workers within the wider community who engage with refrigeration and air-conditioning engineers, or perhaps manage the renewal of employee certifications.

This online continuing professional development course is an excellent industry basics course enabling you to expand your knowledge and support you or your employee’s professional development.

What will I learn?

In this course, you'll learn about some of the fundamental terms and principles used by the those in the industry.

You’ll find out about some of the tasks an F-Gas certified engineer must complete, to avoid leaking fluorinated gases into the environment, which damage the ozone layer and cause global warming.

You'll also hear about some of the key regulatory requirements in place to ensure that engineers, their companies, and their customers operate refrigeration and air-conditioning in a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly way.

Duration

This is a short online course and can be completed in approximately 90 minutes.

Assessment

Knowledge check questions will be asked throughout. Once you have completed the course, you can download a CPD certificate.
