COURSE SUMMARY

As the environmental legislation drives the sector towards lower global warming potential refrigerants our technicians are increasingly having to deal with and handle flammable refrigerants. This course will upskill qualified f-gas engineers to ensure they are aware of the specific requirements which must be applied when handling these refrigerants.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

Competent F-Gas engineers and technicians with a current BESA F-Gas cat 1 or 2, LCL cat 1 or 2, C&G2079-11 or 12, or an approved EU qualification recognised by AREA.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

Get ahead of the upcoming legislative changes due for completion in 2023! Flammables are being considered as an essential element in the current review across UK and Europe – does your current qualification cover flammables? Be sure you have your ongoing licence for work.

By completing this course you will gain a better understanding of the requirements which must be applied to using these gases. You can also clearly demonstrate to your clients with your certificate, your competence to not only recommend their use, but also charge them into existing or new systems using the required components.

DURATION

The course can be completed online in approximately 90 minutes.

ASSESSMENT
