Read MoreTo mark national Clean Air Day on June 17th, BESA’s Health & Wellbeing in Buildings group is hosting a webinar looking closely at the implications of recent developments for the future of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
The pandemic has raised awareness of the role of building ventilation in safeguarding the health and productivity of people to an unprecedented level. It has turned the spotlight on the transmission of disease via airborne viruses and highlighted major failings in the IAQ strategies for homes, offices, schools, and healthcare facilities in particular.
Douglas Booker, CEO of National Air Quality Testing Services, will describe the key factors influencing IAQ and what building managers and engineers should be monitoring – including a discussion on target levels for indoor air pollutants to minimise risks to human health and promote wellbeing, along with their relationship to bio-security.
Speakers and panellists:
Douglas Booker, Co-Founder & CEO, National Air Quality Testing Services, Lancaster University Environment Centre, UK
Nathan Wood, BESA Wellbeing in Buildings Chairman MD, Farmwood
Craig Booth, Principal, Craig Booth Associates
Garry Ratcliffe, Chief Executive Officer at THE GALAXY TRUST
