On 6 April 2022, the Personal Protective Equipment at Work (Amendment) Regulations 2022 (PPER 2022) came into force. They amend the 1992 Regulations (PPER 1992).

This SHEP webinar aims to inform SMEs about the recent changes to PPE regulations and will include a session with Stephen Green, an Inspector of Health and Safety from the HSE’s Product Safety and Market Surveillance Unit on selecting the right PPE for the task, maintenance, face fit testing and compatibility.

This will be followed by an interview with sports psychologist Simon Hartley on behavioural safety and the best tactics for encouraging employees to adopt safe working practices.

There will be a 20-minute Q&A following the presentations to provide delegates with an opportunity to put their questions to Stephen and Simon.
