The main focus of the meeting will be provided by Lorna Stimpson, Deputy Chief Executive from the Local Authority Building Control (LABC). Dame Judith Hackitt’s Independent Review of the Building Regulations and Fire Safety concluded that the current safety system for ensuring fire safety in high-rise buildings was not fit for purpose and a full overhaul of the system is required.

There will be significant changes to the industry over the next couple of years that will affect every company and every individual, with the evidencing of competence and compliance being critical.
