Young Engineers Are The Future Of Our Industry

BESA Future Leaders was formed in 2017 and exists to help develop the next generation of leaders in our industry and to encourage young people to chose engineering services as their career. It will also be a valuable way to bring new ideas to the industry and BESA as a trade body.

The group's current Chair is Ryan Walton of Panasonic.

The group aims to:
1
SKILLS GAP Help bridge the skills gap by developing ways to attract school leavers to the sector.
2
NETWORK Create a supportive network of young people in our sector. Organise events and socials.
3
MENTORING Set up the opportunity for mentoring, reverse mentoring and shadowing for the benefit of all.
4
DEVELOPMENT Provide development to enable members to acquire and build on key leadership skills.
5
INNOVATION

Encourage innovative ideas and new thinking which can be shares with the sector.

6
CONTRIBUTE Share ideas and contribute at BESA Webinars, meetings and the Annual BESA Conference.
