Coronavirus advice for members

BESA have prepared guidance for its members on dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. The guidance has been prepared by BESA's Head of Compliance & Standards and their in-house Legal & Commercial team of specialists. 

The guidance brings together sources of latest and reliable information, describes best practice and provides an example incident response plan template and checklist.

Members may also be concerned about the impact of coronavirus on their construction contracts and, in particular, the position if delays occur due to a shortage of materials or labour or in the event of site shutdown.  In response, the legal team have prepared a factsheet covering these contractual issues as a guide.
