Entry Requirements

For this role the candidate needs to have achieved grades A*- C (9-4) in Maths and English.

Applicants are also required to complete BESA Training's online application and assessment. Applicants who do not complete the assessment will not be considered for the role.

Details

An apprentice Building Service Engineering Installer will learn how to install systems such as central heating, hot and cold water systems, air conditioning and pipework in industrial and commercial buildings. Specialist skills would be developed in installing large industrial equipment using materials such as steel, copper, iron, plastic and stainless steel. The successful candidate will work towards a level 2 qualification with the opportunity to progress to level 3 on successful completion and subject to performance in the role.

Working as part of a team of engineers, the successful candidate will be expected to commit themselves to learning both on site and off the job in a college or a training centre.
