GCSE A-C Maths, English, GCSE A-D Science/Technical based subject


As a refrigeration engineer apprentice, you will learn how to install, repair and maintain refrigeration equipment and systems within a variety of commercial and industrial premises such as supermarkets or refrigeration warehouses.

This is a very varied line of work, with no two days the same. You will travel around to client sites, being field-based, and learn a wide range of skills to keep customers’ equipment fully functional with minimum disruption to them.

The refrigeration engineer apprenticeship course takes two years to reach Level 2 and a further two years if you continue to Level 3. You will have day or block release to college or a training centre.
