Old Apprenticeship Frameworks

BESA Training provides a range of apprenticeships for the building engineering services sector.

WHAT IS BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEERING (BSE)?

If you take away the lighting, heating and ventilation, the lifts and escalators, electrics, plumbing, power supply and energy management systems, the security and safety systems in a building, all you are left with is a cold, dark, uninhabitable shell.

Everything inside a building which makes it safe and comfortable to be in, comes under: “Building Services Engineering”.

The sector offers a wide range of rewarding and interesting career options, from craft apprentice to technician and professional engineering levels.

All career paths are equally suited to females and males.

APPRENTICESHIP FRAMEWORKS

All apprenticeship frameworks are being phased out and expected registration closure will be 1 September 2018. For those currently studying an apprenticeship framework, they will continue until programme completion.

A project engineer in the building services industry will design, create and maintain a comfortable, energy efficient and safe environment within commercial and industrial buildings.
