JOB ROLE/DESCRIPTION
Service and Maintenance Engineers play a key role in planning and completing a range of maintenance work encompassing industrial and commercial building services engineering systems such as ventilating, heating, water supply, waste and drainage.
This includes related electrical isolation, disconnection, reconnection and reactivation. They also complete planned preventative maintenance and undertake any required remedial repairs.
It is desirable to achieve this apprenticeship you will need English and Maths at level 2 or GCSE Grade C, and Information Communication Technology at Level 1 or GCSE Grade D. If you do not have these we can organise delivery prior to the apprenticeship commencing.
Apprentices will study towards the Level 2 and Level 3 Building Services Engineering Service and Maintenance Engineer qualification, which includes knowledge tests, practical assignments and production of a portfolio of evidence.
An apprenticeship is a real job with training, enabling you to earn whilst you learn. You will gain qualifications, which are recognised worldwide as well as a vast range of job-specific skills.
