Where can I find my BESA subscription? The BESA Subscription will be issued to the Primary contact on your account prior to the start of your next Membership term. If the Accounts or Finance contact is known then we will send an additional copy to them directly, for your records. 
What support does BESA Membership offer? Our in house expert teams specialise in Legal and Commercial, HR and Employment Affairs, Health and Safety and Technical areas within the building engineering services industry. Joining a BESA membership gives you access to these specialist teams so we can better support you and your business needs. Find our more about our BESA Member Support.
What is the Competence Assessment Standard? The BESA Competence Assessment Standard provides independent assessment of our members’ technical competence and commercial capability.
Why should I use a BESA Member? Construction is a complex process. It therefore requires significant expertise to deliver the building engineering services that buildings demand. Using a BESA member ensures you're getting in right, find out more about why you should use a BESA Member.
How can I stay up to date with the latest industry guidance? By joining BESA membership you will have access to free legal, employment, health & safety and technical guidance. And have access to expert advice. We also offer significant discounts on our BESA publications to our members. You could also sign up the BESA mailing list and stay up to date with everything we have going on.
What is the National Agreement? The National Agreement is a set of terms and conditions of employment for those working in the Building Engineering Service industry, agreed between the Employers Association BESA  and Unite the Union on behalf of the employees.
We need someone to review our Handbook and policies – can you do this? Our team at Employment Affairs can review your handbook and policies as part of our service. If you do not hold an Employee Handbook, we can provide a bespoke service to create one for you at an additional cost.
We already have someone in our business who does HR – what further support can you offer? Some of our Members already have an in-house HR department and we are happy to partner up with that person and offer them any support that they need. A lot of our Members don’t have an in-house HR team and we provide advice on all.
What training can my employees and I receive?

BESA Academy offers a huge host of online courses, welding centrs, short courses and training centres to help you and your employees stay up to date and continue their professional development.
