SHEP Lift Managers & Duty Holders - Your Responsibilities In association with SAFed and LEIA

This webinar is for anyone who is an owner, manager or duty holder of a lift or who wants to understand the associated legal responsibilities to ensure that your lifts are safe for those who use them.

The trade associations of the Safety Assessment Federation (SAFed), representing the independent engineering inspection industry, and the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA), the advisory body for the lift and escalator industry, have worked together for many years on joint guidance for lift inspection and testing.

This webinar reviews the legislative requirements related to Your Responsibilities as a lift owner, manager or duty holder, and the interactions with the Inspection Body and Maintenance providers in ensuring that all round good practice delivers a safe, usable lift. It will conclude with a Q&A session.

This webinar will potentially be part of a series, with future sessions on the topics of Thorough Examination, Maintenance and Supplementary Testing, and we would welcome feedback to inform the future focus of these sessions.
