Indoor Air Quality

June 15 2017

Lincoln House, London

We are hosting a special Indoor Air Quality event as part of National Clean Air Day on June 15.

The event will comprise an exercise in measuring and monitoring IAQ while simultaneously linking readings to changes in outdoor pollution. This will help to demonstrate the need for buildings to be properly ventilated and maintained to provide 'safe havens' for occupants in the face of toxic external pollution levels.

Our exercise will form part of the nationwide clean air campaign being co-ordinated by the National Clean Air Day organisers in conjunction with the Mayor of London's office and others. We will be part of the nationwide media campaign on the day and will be providing live social media updates.

We will also present the results from a range of IAQ monitoring sites and our analysis, which can inform a strategy for tackling air quality in buildings.

The BESA Indoor Air Quality Group will also unveil its plans for publishing the industry's first IAQ Standard and will be inviting you to take part in this exercise by sharing your expertise, ideas and enthusiasm for the topic.
