BESA sponsors HVR Awards 2019


The HVR Awards is back for its 10th anniversary and with the awards gaining momentum; BESA pledges its support as the headline sponsor.

 This year’s HVR Awards sponsorships will be headlined by none other than the UK’s lead trade organisation for building engineering services, BESA. Established in 1904, the Building Engineering Services Association (formerly known as the HVCA) represents the interests of companies who work in the production, maintenance and management of engineering systems and services in buildings.

Setting best practice guidelines and technical standards for the industry as well as developing training to support the sector, the BESA has played an imperative role in the building engineering field for over 100 years.

 HVR Awards 2019: Celebrating a decade of Excellence

The HVR Awards has been carrying the torch for innovation and excellence from across the HVAC field for ten years; celebrating its successes and evolving year-on-year alongside its outstanding products, businesses and professionals. It has come to be recognised as the ultimate platform for acknowledging and rewarding hard work, brilliance and invention - and with entries now open for the landmark edition, you have the chance to be a part of it.

 If your business has made an exciting contribution to the sector, has created a revolutionary new product, or has gone the extra mile for a special cause, then submit your business, product or outstanding employee for an award in one of the HVR Awards’ diverse range of categories.

Judged categories this year include Commercial/ Industrial Ventilation Product of the Year, Commercial/ Industrial Heating Product of the Year, Commercial/ Industrial Air Conditioning Product of the Year, SBS Contractor of the Year, HVAC Initiative of the Year, Ancillary Product of the Year, Sustainable Product of the Year. Separate to these, the Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented on the night.

Categories voted for by the industry include Training Initiative of the Year, Community Spirit Award, Customer Service Person of the Year and Wholesaler/ Distributor of the Year.

 What is new this year?

To mark its anniversary, the HVR Awards has introduced a new very special category, The 10th Anniversary Star Product Award.  The winners of the product categories on the night of the HVR Awards in October will all stand a chance of collecting this distinguished accolade.

The product that demonstrates the most ground-breaking impact for the future of heating, ventilation and air conditioning, will be crowned by the judges at the one-off 10th Anniversary Winners Gallery taking place at the HVACR Show in January 2020.

Winners and runners up in these categories will also be invited to showcase their exceptional products in the gallery for the duration of the HVACR Show.
