Terms & Conditions

How to participate

• In order to enter this promotion, sign up with us go to https://share-eu1.hsforms.com/1RZ3jx2yiQ8enaeoUxRYvoQf0g3n and enter the information requested.
• All entries must include your first name, last name and email address to be valid.
• Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.
• You are only allowed one entry into this promotion. Double entries will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.
  
  

Start date

• This promotion will start at 24^th June 2025
  
  

Closing date

• The closing date for this promotion will be 5pm, 1st July 2025. Entries received by BESA after this time will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.
  
  

Selection of the winner

• The draw will be a random selection done by BESA.
• The winner of the ticket draw will be the first entrant randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  
  

Prize

• The prize is as follows: 2 (two) tickets to attend the BESA annual conference.
• There is NO alternative prize.
• The prize is non-transferable and does not include any additional costs and expenses
  
  

Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

• BESA will notify the winner by email on or before 8^th July 2025 . If a selected winner does not respond to the notification within 28 days, the prize will be forfeited and BESA will select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have 28 days to respond to their notification).
• The winner will receive their prize via an online booking code.
  
  

Publicity and personal information

• Please note that your personal information will be used to process your entry, to contact you about your entry, and for the purpose outlined in paragraph 7.2 below. Please see our privacy policy on our website for more details regarding how BESA will use your personal information.
• You may be asked to participate in publicity relating to this promotion if you are selected as a winner. If you are uncomfortable with that, please contact us marketing@thebesa.com

General

• This promotion is operated by the Building Engineering Services Association (“BESA”).
• Entrants hereby grant BESA a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to use the submissions, and Entrants acknowledge that copyright and/or any other intellectual property right within the submissions will be owned by BESA.
• Where BESA is unable to be registered as the owner of any intellectual property within the submissions, entrants agree to assign to BESA (by way of a written document, separate to these terms and conditions) all intellectual property rights in the submission with full title guarantee and to waive their moral rights in the submission.
• While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit or exclude BESA’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, BESA will NOT be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any other losses suffered relating to entry into the promotion or which are caused by a third party.
• The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
