How to apply

Applying for membership of the BESA is a straightforward process for competent building engineering services firms ­– and one you can start on today by visiting our Apply Online facility


First submit the initial application form, which you will find on our Apply Online page, and paid your £60.00 (inc. VAT) application fee.

You will then be contacted by one of our regional management team, who will visit you at your premises to talk you through the rest of the steps to membership, and to answer any queries you may have. 

Key to BESA membership is our independent Competence Assessment Scheme, which verifies your firm’s technical competence, commercial capability and adherence to best health and safety best practice – and which allows you to demonstrate the quality of your work to your existing and potential clients.
