ESG wanted to maximise the value of their BESA membership and leverage its full potential to support their business objectives.

The Solution 

Lee Cowlbeck, ESG's Safety, Health & Environment Director, met with Kip Bahra, BESA's Regional Manager. Together, they discussed ESG's most pressing issues and concerns, exploring how BESA could provide assistance. Their discussion covered the BESA Building Safety Act Hub, accessing up-to-date technical knowledge, influencing change through BESA's specialist groups and committees, and raising ESG's industry profile.

The Results

ESG became aware of the comprehensive benefits and resources accessible as a BESA member, including the Building Safety Act Hub and Health & Safety Bulletins. Aligning with their vision to set industry standards, Lee Cowlbeck joined the BESA Technical Committee, a pivotal decision-making body for new and amended technical publications and standards. This committee also raises industry issues, enabling BESA to provide solutions through new guidance or technical bulletins. Lee took his place among other industry thought leaders.

To further elevate ESG's profile, Lee signed up as a judge for the BESA Awards 2024, showcasing the company's expertise and commitment to excellence within the industry.
